elcome to the Molecular Genetics and Soybean Genomics Laboratory at the University of Missouri-Columbia. The laboratory is directed by Dr. Henry T. Nguyen, Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC) Endowed Professor of Genetics and Soybean Biotechnology. Research interests in the laboratory focus on the molecular genetics of plant stress tolerance and the application of genomics and genetic engineering technologies to soybean improvement. Dr. Nguyen is the Director of the National Center for Soybean Biotechnology (NCSB) and coordinator of the Plant Root Genomics Consortium funded by the National Science Foundation. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Plant Group, Integrative Plant Biology and Integrative Genomics of the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center, and the Genetics Area Program at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
