Welcome to the Soybean Genetics and Genomics Laboratory at the University of Missouri. The laboratory is directed by Dr. Henry T. Nguyen, a Curators' Distinguished Professor of Plant Sciences and Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC) Endowed Professor of Soybean Genomics and Biotechnology. Research interests in the laboratory focus on the molecular genetics of plant stress tolerance and the application of genomic technologies to soybean improvement.
Dr. Nguyen served as the Director of the National Center for Soybean Biotechnology from 2003 to 2015. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Plant Group, Integrative Plant Biology and Integrative Genomics of the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center, and the Genetics Area Program at the University of Missouri.
